Pershing Field Ice Rink 

This ice rink is a great local ice rink for a day of ice skating. They have a convenient parking lot, which makes getting and staying there for the day easy. It is also great because the rink is covered, but still open to the outdoors. Admission prices are very affordable, so it is great if you have a large family or have a tight budget to stick to. For residents of Jersey City is $3 and $2 for children under 17 years old. Skate rentals are $4. Public skating hours are offered Wednesday – Sunday and some holidays. Newport Skates

This ice skating rink is the only full outdoors ice skating rink in New Jersey, which automatically makes it one of the top ice skating rinks in and around Hoboken. It is a huge attraction for locals and visitors alike. The rink is open during the winter months, from February to March. It is located in the River Market. Drop-in classes are available, as well as group classes and private lessons. Skate rentals are available.

This rink is located in Bayonne and on the high school campus. They offer public ice skating sessions on the weekends, Friday through Sunday. Adults are $5 per session and kids are $3 per session. All skate rentals are $4. Be aware there is limited free parking available.

The Standard Ice Rink

Maybe one of the most popular and well-known rinks on the list, this is always a fantastic ice skating options if you feel like going into the city. The rink opens on December 20th and runs until March 2018. They have amazing food options for when you are done skating in the cafe. This is always a foolproof option for a day of ice skating. They have a ton of general and open skate options for most days of the week and on the weekends. Pricing is $11 for all ages and skates rental is $6. If you want to rent a helmet it is an additional $5.

This twin-rink facility, located on Pier 61 at Chelsea Piers, operates seven days a week, welcoming skaters of all ages and ability levels for general skating sessions, figure skating, ice hockey, league play, birthday parties, special events and more.
